[WIP] Not going anywhere with these things.

This is a sculpture I'm working on. It's a pseudo self portrait of a feeling of uselessness and being trapped. The deer is representing me as a quiet and peaceful figure, being bound down by my current situation (the golden antlers will be that vice). The deer is meant to look splayed and awkward and not 100% anatomically correct. When its antlers are attached, they will be bound to the back by either red ribbon, or a silver chain. Also, I'm filling out the chest more with clay and possibly shortening that front leg or moving it down all together. I've also trimmed more off of the neck. I'm considering adding more to the subject to further the message. Possibly some low relief roses.

The deer will be glazed white and have pink or a baby blue spray on the nose and feet, and the antlers will be covered in gold leaf.
This piece is really coming together and I'm super excited to share the final product with you!
